MEETING DF GROWERS' COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Woolgrowers' Committee was Held in Christchurch on Saturday morning, when it was reported that the matter of selecting an arbitrator had been satisfactorily dealt with by the Hon. tho Minister for Agriculture, in appointing Mr William Nicholas to that position. Tho costs of arbitration in connexion with the ■wool will be paid by tho loser in each appeal, i.e., either tho grower or the Government, and in the case of the grower the expense will bo a charge pro 'rata upon the wool which is the subject of appeal. Tho committee consider that the time for lodging appeals against valuations should bo extended from 4S hours to 72 hours, and this sufrerestion has been telegraphed to the Minister.
