« CAXTEBBUBY CLUB. Junior members of th<s Canterbury Flying Club flew off a race from Culvcrden last ■wfok. The winning- bird, the property of M. Clark, flew the distance of 61 miles 1235 yards !n 1 hour 47 ininutce 15 eecotide, a velocity of 1013 yards per minute. The following also competed:—R. Woodham 1008yde, G. "VVaito lOOTydfl. 11.
