INTER-BANK RELAY RACE.. 3"he annual Inter-Bank Relay race, consisting cf four members each, of tho Bank of Now Zealand and tho National and Commercial Banks was ewum at the Tepid Baths on Yvednesdav, resulting in a win for t.'io Bank of New Zealand (J. Jl. Cos, R. B. Wheeley. R. Wilson, and D. Appleby). In the final length Duncan (National) had a good lead, but Whcelov (Bank of Jvew Zealand) made rapid progress. The finisft was very exciting; \Yheeley ' succeeded in catching his opponent, and, with % final spurt, forged ahead of him, winning by leas than a length. Mr F. Collins was 6tartcr.
