DR. BARNARDO'S HOMES. The Sydenham Branch of Dr. Barns. l * Young Helpers' League closed its firsVfinancial year on Saturday. The report stated >ha(t 118 members had. paid their cmtraiico fee of Is, and had contributed ' over £16. Members were entertained on each, box-open-ing ceremony by Mr H. Cole. Cashmere Hills. Mr C. Salter, treasurer of the Christchurch branches, and the_ Kev. Sootter addressed members on the aims of the socjs'iy. The I/oajnie is also indebted to Miss Pearson and Mise R. Hay for their valuable aerTicee aft secretaries.
