NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
At Trinity Congregational Church to-nior-row, the Sunday School Anniversary will bo celebrated. The service in the morning will be conducted by the Rerr. W. A. Sinclair, and that in. the evening by the Rev. J. J. North. In the afternoon the Rev. Harry Johnaon will conduct a special musical service.
At the Durham etreet Methodist Church to-morjow evening tho preacher will be the Rev. John Dawson (ex-piesident of the Methodist Conference). The choir will give "Thy Way, not Mine, oh Lord," and' Mies Bessie Olds will contribute two 6olos, "God is our Refuge" (Carey) and "The Gentle Shepherd" (Adame). A special "In Memoriam" service will be held to-morroy afternoon, at 3 o'clock, at Durham street Methodist Church, in connexion with the death of the Bev. Prank Isitt. His "Worship th© Mayor will preside, and addresses wi'j_bc delivered by the Rev. "W. J. "Williams and Bev. John Dawson. Special services will be held to-morrow at "Wesley Church, Edge ware road, to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the St. Albans East Church. The Bev. A. 2s. Scotter will preach at 11 a.m. The evening service will be conducted by the president of the Conference, the Bev. Albert C. Lawry, who will unveil a Roll of Honour containing about 14 names of men who have gone to tlie front from the chvinh and Sunday school, and will also preach a special sermon. Special hymns and anthems will be given by an aujrmented choir, and Messrs Johnson and Peak© will contribute solos and duets.
A jumble sale will be held at St. Asaph street. Hull. Linwood. at 2.30 to-day. The "Woolston branch of the Bed. Cross Society -will hold a social on Monday eveniwr. A jumble sale in aid of the Y.If.C.A. Hutment Fund will be hold in the Leyden street Hall. I/inwood, this afternoon.
