"Our artillery causcd severe explosions. "We bombarded the enemy's lines in the Soiu-h.cz • and Armcntieres areas." A QUIET NIGHT. The High Commissioner reports :— LONDON. November 1G (12.15 p.m.). The British official report states:— '"During the night there was considerable shelling bv the etaerny north and south of the Ancre. Otherwise there is nothing to report."
