The Presbyterian General Assembly will meet in Wellington nest week. The opening service on Tuesday will bn conducted by the Moderator. Per. "W S. Scorgie, at 7.30 p.m., and the Mode-rator-elect, the Rev. R. M. Rybuni, M.A.. of First Church, Invercargill, will then deliver his inaugural address. During the conference, a nmber of important matters are to he dealt with by the delegates, including the consideration of an overture from the Wellington Presbytery concerning the union of the churches. The conference is expected to last for several days.
