Although the British motor-car manufacturers arc engaged almost exclusively on Army work, they arc booking orders steadily for the delivery of cars as f»on as peace come*. "Every firm has a long-waiting list, said the* London manager of a leading company just before the last mail left. "The orders have been accumulating for two years They hail from all quarters of the globe. "The motor companies will lw able to return readily to their original industry. One firm can turn out 60 or £0 first-class cars in a week, 60 that it will not take long to wip« off the arrears. Many people appear to be quite willing to wait for British-made cars."
