A German communique says: — "Tho Russians suffered severe losses west of the Stokhod. "Fighting continues in the woods and mountains amid snowfalls and frost, and our enemies—both Russians and Roumanians—are suffering heavily." ENEMY CLAIMS CAPTURES. LONDON. October 20. A German communique says: — "South-west of Svistelniki, on the west bank of the Narajowka, we stormed an important Russian position, and took prisoner 2000 men." violent~Tttacks. LONDON, October 20. A Russian communique states: —"A stubborn battle is being waged north of Kiselin. ( The enemy is violently attacking north nf Kuropatniko and south of Svistelniki." "Tho enemy developed an offensive south of Dorna Watra, but was repelled" '
