CANTERBURY . ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the Competitions Committee of the Canterbury Cricket. Association was held on Monday. Twenty-eight entries were received for tho grade competitions. The draw for the first round is as follows: — First Grade—High School v College, at Hagley Park; Linwood v Sydenham, at Lancaster Park; East Christchurch v St Albans, at Hagley Park; Riccafton y West Christchurch, at Hagley Park. Second Grade—Linwood v East Christchurch, at Lancaster Park; Sydenham v. Riccaxton, at Sydenham; West Christchurch v. St. Albans, at Hagley Park; High School ▼. College, at College; Technical College, a bye. Third Grade' (one day matches only)— St. Albans v. Riccarkm, at Hagley Park; Boys' High School "A" v. College "A." at College; Boys' High School ."B" v. College "B." at Collego; Technical v. St. Bedc'e, at Technical Collego Ground; Sydenham, a bye; West Christchurch v. West Chiistchnrch D.H.S., at Hagley Park. The first and second grade competitions will commence on Saturday next. . Owing to cadet-parades next Saturday, the matches between High School and College (first and seoond grade) will not- be commenced until the following Saturday, and will be continued on N.Z. Cup Day. November 4tli. For the same reason, T.hc third grade matches will not commence until tho 28th inst.

With the above-mentioned exceptions, there_ will be no first or seoond grade games on N.Z. Cup Day. No competition matches will be played on Domain Fete Day, December 2nd.
