Dreased as a nurse, and her pleedmg for pennies, was not in rain; it literally rained coins for a time, the net jc6nlt being £3 lis for "Our Day" Fund. The president (Mr TV. Goodman), prior to presenting tho prizes, thanked all those who had worked to make the contests a success, and appealed to those who could pive the time <o join the ranks and work to fill some of the gaps made by thoso who had left to fight their country's cause. The proai need to-day was workers to carry on the fight against tho evils of drink. Tho distribution of the prizes occupied somo time, and was marked by great enthusiasm.
