WHAT THE FIGURES SHOW

The latest raedical statistics from Trentham and Featberston Cair.ps show the general health .01" the men in trainitic to be good. Speaking to a "Post" reporter on Friday, Surgeon-General Henderson, Director-General of Medical Services, states that during the past month the average number of daily sick in hospital at Trentham had been 1.C5 per cent., and at Featherston 23, per cent. January .„ 2.5 1.9 February ... 2.5 1.9 March _. 1.8 2.1 April ... .95 1.5 May ... 1.2 l.ti June ... 1.95 2.2 General Henderson said that in India under 3 per cent, of daily sick in hospital was classified as good, 3 to 5 per cent, fair, 5 to 6 per cent, as indifferent, and over 7 per cent, as bad. This applied to trained Boldiers. The New Zealand camp percentages, which only applied to men in traihing, might therefore be classified as good.
