OPERA HOUSE. There Trill be a matinee at the Opera House thi s afternoon, commencing at 2.30. This will be the final appearauco of the Victor Princc Revue Company in their latest production, '"The Harem Scarem Girls.'' At the evening performance the bill will revert to an all vaudeville show, new artists replacing the Revue Company. These include Tiny Tot Marjorio, and Little Eileen, a clever juvenilp contortionist duo who have been making good on the Fuller circuit; Carlton .-lax. ventriloquist.: Sidney Jono?. who is de?cribc-d as a "Welsh Rarebit at the Piano" : and Agnes Rawes, soprano. A new contingent of artists will appear on Monday night.

Next week a Fine Arts photo-play will bo screened, entitled *'The .Lily and the Rose. 1- " The Lily is first seen in a beautiful Southern home, where she is cared for by two aunts, tvpical gentlewomen of former days. Through a fashionable relative the Lily is introduced to tho man whoin_ sbo marries. Jle gradually tires of the artless girl and goes to a musie-hnll, where he sees a sensational dancer, tho Rose. In his infatuation he neglects tho Lily. Events work out to an un-looked-for result. The box plan is at The Bristol.

To-night will be the last night of the present programme at the Grand Theatre. On Monday there will be the usual change of programme, when the star feature will ho another "Metro"' production entitled "Rosemary," in which M iss Marguerite. Snow will take the leading part. The film is adapted from the stage success of the same name, and is stated to be one of the best "Metro" pictures produced. There were good attendances again at the Queen's Theatre yesterday, when "Tho Heart, of the P'lue Ridge/' and supporting films were repeated. The programme will be screened once rnore to-day. A five-act photo-nlay, * The Flash of an Emerald," with Robert Warwick in the lead, will be shown a.Il next week. It is described as a very fine film. . , "The Wild Gooso Chase' and supporting programme will be screened todav and to-night at Every Dodys Theatre for the last time. For next week the star picture will be ' The Innocence of llnth," a Kleine-Edison picture ot' five acts. There Ave re excellent audiences at the Starland Theatre yesterday, when the current week's programme was repeated. It will be screened again to-day. A special matinee will he held today of ' The Wild Goose Chase" at the Sydenham Theatre. To-night "'The Christian" will tie screened from 6.30 to 8, a nd tho "Wild Goos c Chase" programme from S to 10. The fx. R. Sims drama "The Lights o' London" and other pictures will be shown at the Globe Theatre to-day and to-night for the last time. A special picture, entitled "The Loneliness of tho Hills," will bo screened this afternoon. On Monday the new programme will bo headed by tho Vitagraoh feature drama, "The Woman in the Box."

"EGYPT." "Egypt the Land of Six Thousand Years," will form the subject of a lectnro in the Hall to-night, at 8 o'clock by Mrs Helene Cross, on behalf of tho L.idy Liverpool Pnnd. Tho lecture, which will bo comprehensively illustrated by a fino collection of lantern slides, should convcv an excellent idea of the land where New Zealand soldiers were so long, and where so many am still. Mrs Cross spent quite a considerable time in this land so bound up with Biblical history, and her lecture cannot fail to be both interesting atfd instructive to those whose thoughts have been centred on this country for so many anxious months. OLYMPIA RINfK. During the various sessions of the Olynipia Rink yesterday roller skating was again greatly enjoyed by large numbers of patrons. To-day and this evening tho rink will bo open at the usual hours.
