ELLESMERE LICENSING COMMITTEE.

At the meeting of the Ellesmere Licensing Committee* there were present —Mr T. A. B. Bailey (chairman), Messrs Latter, Parkinson, Paterson, Hubbard and Wright. Transfers were granted as follows: — Springston Hotel, W. Smith, to S. W. Deane; Railway Hotel, T. Toner to M. Biordan. Improvements and repairs were ordered in respect of the Hill Top, Lake Forsvth, Prebbleton, and Lincoln Hotels. ~ , Regarding improved accommodation at the Rolleston Hotel, it was decided that at present the hotel was up to. the requirements of the district. The following licenses were granted: —Hotetl Mctropole, Bruce, Waeckerle's, Somerset, Hill Ton ; Lake Forsyth, Ellesmere Arms, Lincoln. Rolleston, Southbridge, Leeston. Doyleston, Templeton, Prebbleton, Halswell, Springston and Dunsandel.
