CASUALTIES.

Frank Humphreys, A siriglo man, about 35 Years of age, was found in an old shed at Officer's Point, Lyttelton, about 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon with his throat cut. As far as can be ascertained, Humphreys came to Lyttelton about 18 months ago, and commenced work on the wharf. He had been staying at Hill's boarding-house, and was last seen about 10 a.m. on Tuesday. As he did not turn up at hie lodgings that night, the police wero informed, and a search was made. Subsequently his mates found him in the shed. He has a brother on the West Coast.
