The Cbrwtchurch Poultry, Pigeon, anil Canary Club flew off it 3 annual pigeon ra-c« from Parnaseus, only oirds wearing 3915 metal ringa eligible to comp°tc.. Forty-two bird 3 were tent, divided " amongst 14 lofts competing. Th-j birds were liberated by the statiomi:ast«r nt 2 p.m.. in dull weather, with a very .igl-t easterly wind blowing at the honio end. Owing to the dulln-Ees of the weather, the birds put up alow times. The winner turned up to. be Mr F. Kingsford'a Oemanthe. which flow the distance of 773 miles 450 yards airline in 2 hours 40 minutca 42 seconds Th«* following is the result:—F. Kingsford'e Osui an the, 775 yds per minute; F. Smith'.Guess. 772vds per minute;: R. Pounsford'fi Red Mattock 771yde per minute; J. Chortelle. 764 yds per minute; J. O'l-onnelVs Poeary, 764 yds per minute: C.
