STATE MEDICAL SERVICE. (By Cabl*.—Press Association.—Copyright.) SYDNEY, May 29. Addressing the B.ilmain Labour League, Dr. Stopford suggested the establishment of a State medical service. He said that the private practitioner had a pecuniary interest in disease, whicii inexorably compelled him to welcome sickness and protract its treatment. STATESMAN HONOURED. ADELAIDE. May 29. The Governor-General (Sir R. MunroFergnson) unveiled in Victoria square, on behalf of the Citizens' Committeej a statue to the late Hon. C. Kingston, a former Premier of South Australia. TO COMBAT UNIONISM. SYDNEY, May 29. A proposal is afoot to form a big employers' association to combat aggres&ve unionism.
