Sarelius, the Swedish gymnasium specialist, having offered his services to a class of young women at the Association. There is only accommodation for a class of 30, and any who are desirous of joining should do so at once. • Welcome services to the Rev. Nicholas Turner will be held to-morrow at 11 a.m. in the I>urham street south Church, and at G. 30 p.m., at the Lower High street Church. A battalion parade of the C.D.C. is ordered for next Tuesday at the King Edward Barracks, at 7.30 p.m. The performance of "Vc Dunraow Flitch,'' in the Rangiora Institute, has been postponed. A meeting of ratepayers and subscribers to the Vharenui Coronation Bath will be held on Monday evening after the annual meeting of householders. The annnnl meeting c f the Lincoln Ploughing' Match Association will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m., in the Druids' Hall, Lincoln. The anniversary services of the THirhatn street Methodist Church will be held to-morrow. The Rev. AV. A. nav, of Trinity Church, Dunedin. will bo the preacher mornintr and evening. At the evening service Mr* Ernest Firth will sing "Ho was X>esr>ised" (I-Tandell. and Mr I>. Bowron will sing "In Native "Worth" (Haydn).
