NOTES AND MEMORANDA
To-night Dr. John H. Elliott will speak on the subject "Lessons from .the jiggest and Best Sunday-school I ever yaw." and to-morrow afternoon at 4.15, at the Y.M.C.A., at a. grand rally of a 'l the Bible Classes, both men and women, when he will speak on the subject, "\\ hat to Teach in Order to Hold and Keep." The pulpit of the Durham street Methodist Church will be occupied tomorrow evening by the Rev. Dr. J. H. Elliott, of America. Dr. Elliott has been the Principal of the Moody Bible Institute in Adelaide, founded bv Dr. Chapman and Mr Alexander, the wellknown evangelists. He is on his way -back to the United States, but hopes to return to Adelaide after the close of the war.
The Methven A and P. Association's annual show will be held on Thursday next.
