A BATHER IN DIFFICULTIES

A girl bather at New Brighton yesterday morning was swept off her feet by the strong current and dashed against the piles of the pier. She received severe lacerations from the sharp shells covering the piles., and for a timo was in considerable danger. Other bathers near bv went to her rescue and soon had her ashore.
