THE LATE MR W. GUISE BRITTAN.
At a meeting held on Friday, the Christ's College Board of Governors passed the following resolution: -The Governing Body of Christ s College desiro to uiace on record their sei.se of loss sustained by the College in the death of the lato William Guise Brittan, for tho last twer.ty-two years its Bursar and Registrar. The faithful and devoted services which he has rendered to the College are beyond all price, insured as they were, not only bv the influences of Ins high character, strict integrity and great ability; but T et more by the love lie bore to the College of which he became a member foul- and sixty years ago. Mr Brittan entered the school as tenth boy on the roll in 1852, was appointed business agent of the College ni 13, 0. and continued his services as Buisar to the very close of his life. Tho record of his life and character will long remain „ iinnmired possession of the College. TL Governing Body request the Warden to convey a copy of this resolution to the members of the family if the late Bursar, with an expression ;j ttSr and. regM."
