COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS' SMOKE CONCERT.

There was a good attendance at the smoke concert tendered to the visiting delegates at the Commercial Travellers' Club last night. Mr A. Christie was in the chair, and the visiting delegates were warmly welcomed. The usual loyal toast was proposed and honoured. The toast of "The Visitors" was coupled with the names of Messrs Brown (Dunedin), Manton (Wellington), and Garrett (Auckland), who all referred with pride to the work done by the commercial travellers in supporting patriotic and loyal funds, and urged the members of the Association to support their delegates and push on the Association Other toasts were honoured and songs sung by Messrs J. Crono, F. Whitehead, E. Johnson, -A. S. Tarrant," Hannah, Cox, and F. Collins.
