NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
A public meeting to ci'.scuss Greater Christchurch will be held at Buxton's, St. Martin's, on Wednesday night, when addresses will be given by L'rs. A. S. Taylor and Geo. Scott. The ninth session of the Technical College Evening School opens on Monday week, and the director will see students who wish to consult him about their courses on Wednesday and Friday of next week, from 7to D. On Thursday evening the distribution of prizes and certificates will take place in the College Hall. The courses in the evening school are freo to holders of certificates of proficiency over the age of fifteen. The Ashburton A. and P. Association s Annual Show will take placc on March loth and 16th.
