Their second innings totalled 97 (Gill. 31, Day 24. Boag 12, Helmore 11). Kaiapoiwon by an innings and 21 runs, securing a three-point win. In reply to Riccarton's 163, Linwood made 253 (Forsyth 66, Lye 30, R. Kirk 4S, Condliffe 33, S. Kirk 21, Niven 13). Bell and Smith, for Riccarton, and Lye and Condliffe, for Linwood, bowled best. In reply to _99 by Sydenham, St. Albans tnade 117. In their second innings, Sydenham compiled 65 (Pritchard 2-4, Harris 10). St. Albans made the runs required for the loss of 8 wickets (McNae 17 not out). Howe, for Sydenham, and McNae, for St. Albans, bowled best. St. Albans made 234 in their first innings, and East Christchurch 219 (R, Davis 112, McGregor 44, Haughey 29, Hocking 18). St. Albans replied with 182 (Twyneham 60, Pegg 30, Jackman 10, Thompson 35). THIRD GRADE. In reply to 204 by Technical, Eicearton made 99 (Locke 25, Wise 22, Woodrield 14). They followed on and mado B1 (McKay 26, Munro 20, Caygill 18. not out, Mann 14). Stevenson and Dobbs for Technical, and Watts and Wood field for Riccarton, did the bowing.
