LADY LIVERPOOL FUND.
The Uayortea .acknowledges receipt of the following articles from the- children of the Somerfield School (per Mr Adams, headmaster) :—l4 doz. cakes of chocolate,- 110 handkerchiefs, 2 Balaclava caps, 1 cake of eoap, 1 tooth-brush, 2 tins tobacco, 10 face clothe, 3 pillow-slips, 5 tray-cloths, X pair slippers. The Lady Liverpool Fund Depot, 121 Lichfield street, has ro-cpened for the ensuing year. Gifts of khaki handkerchiefs, condensed milk, note-paper, aud »ocks are urgently needed, to enable the supply for the February shipment to be filled. Seven thousand pairs of socks are required for the men who have left Canterbury. The commute© will receive and forward to the men gifts of a suitable nature for.general distribution.
