CASUALTIES.
A young man named Arthur Rowe, of Ashley street, llangiora, was brought into the Christchurch Hospital yesterday afternoon, suffering from gunshot wounds in the abdomen and arm, caused by the accidental discharge of a companion's gun while put rabbit shooting. % v A cabman named J. Thompson, employed by Mrs Douglas, 153 Lichfield street, collided with a tram and motor-car last night, and was thrown from tho box. Ho was taken to the Hospital, but his injuries were not serious.
(PItESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, January 3. The decomposed body of a soldier was found floating off Miramar wharf to-day. In ono pocket was a camp pass bearing the name "F. T. Patterson, New Zealand Riilcs."
