GREECE AND THE ALLIES.
DECISION MUST BE MADE. MENACE OF THE CENTRAL POWERS. ' THE BULGARIAN FACTOR ("Times'' and "Sydney Sun" Services.) (Received December 17th, ."5.5 p.m.) LONDON. December 16A corrosiwudent who interviewed King Constantino, telegraphing from Athens on Tuesday, says: —"The moment lias arrived when Greece must make grave decisions. The circumstances make it probable that the Centra] Powers will request facilities to march through Greece similar to those granted to the Allies. But are the Aus-tro-Germans numerically sufficient, and if insufficient, will they invite the Bulgarians to accompany them I' "Will the Bulgarians, in any case, consent to remain where they are ? The. whole question turns on this. "It is most doubtful whether Greece would 6it still if she sow the Bulgarians in territory lately won by Greek lives and blood. Even if the Government were content to do so, public opinion would probably piovo unrestraiiiable. The Government can be trusted to run no risks. Neutrality is Greece's aim, but the Government consists of Greeks, and every Greek is a patriot, and Greece would abandon her neutrality if events united her Sovereign, her Government, and her people.*' LONDON. December U>. The Vienna newspa-*-; "Noiie Fsvie Prc.<v>r" says: —"The Central Powers cannot suffer the Entente to create a second Calais at Salonica. The war .nust logicajly extend to Greek territory. If Greece is too weak to defend herself, she will find her true friends arc the Central Powers.'" ATHENS, December lb*.
