RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
BY-ELECTIOX. An election was held at Rangiorn yesterday to till the vacancy in the Borough Council caused by the resignation of Or. W. "Wright. There were '133 votes polled, the result being:— W. L. Jameson ... 223 H. C. Wilson ... 204 Informal ... ... G Sir Jameson was declared elected, and both candidates returned thanks to their supporters.
