POTATO BLIGHT Growing Potatoes without spraying means often partial and sometimes complete failure. Blight seems now to be so prevalent as to seem almost a part of the soil, and spraying is the only way to light it. Potatoes which rot in the ground and after being dug could be saved by keeping the plants free from blight. The most effective spray is "DIAL BRAND" BORDEAUX Spray two to four times, making the first application when the plants are about half grown, or earlier if signs of disease appear. Repeat when washed off, usually in a fortnight* E REECE & SONS LTD. COLOMBO STREET
