RIFLE SHOOTING.
CHRISTCHUR£H RIFLE CLUB
The fifth of tho season's series of competitions was taken at Cashmere on Saturday afternoon over 200, 300, 3rd 500 yds. Tho heat was very trying and this, added to a dazzling light and tricky easterly wind, made a good score hard to get. The winner turned up in R. ley, one of this season's members, who finished ur> with a brilliant 34 at and with his handicap included scored The best score with the rifl*? was 97 by H. Reynolds.
