FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR W. O. RUTHERFORD.
The funeral of the late Mr "W. O. Rutherford, of Montrose, Culverden, which took place on Thursday at the Waiau Cemetery, was attended by a very largo gathering reprcsentatvo of town and country interests. Most of the older settlers in the Amuri were represented, and many others had travelled a considerable distanco in order to be present. A largo number of wreaths wore sent, not only irom friends of the deceased, but also irom various firms with which tho late Mr Hut-herford had business connexions.
