Tlio report of .tho. directors of this company for the year ended November 30th shows that the net profit for tho year i 5,£53,044 7s 2d, which, with the amount brought forward from last year, makes the amouut at credit of profit and loss account £55,134 9s od. Out of this, substantial additions have been made to tho various rescrvo funds, and after such apportionments, and deducting tho divklend paid at tho halfyear, there remains a sum of £13,529 13s sd, which the directors propose should bo dealt with as follows:—To payment of a further dividend of 3 per cent, on the prefercnco, and 4 per cent, on the ordinary shares, making a. total dividend for tho year of 6 per cent, and 8 per cent, respectively, £7314 4s lid; to carry forward, £0215 8s 6d; total, £13.529 13s sd. The quantity of stock dealt with at tho company's works amounted to 1.125,971, being an increase of 53,042 head. Tho profit and less statement shows tho following additions to reserve:—Renewals and replacements reserve account, £10,000; general reserve, £15,000; insurance reserve, £10,000.
