THIS MONTH'S SHIPMENTS
(rBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, August 12. Already this month live big steamers hnvo been despatched with full eargoes of meat purchased under the Imperial Government meat supply scheme. These aro tho ludrapura, J>a Blanea. Delphic, Athcnic, and Corinthic, and five others (the Jtuahine, Somerset, Opawa, Tainui, and Makarini), are timed to leave by the lAith inst. Since the inauguration of the schemc thirty steamers have been 1 despatched, carrying 10-3,430 quarters of beef, 1,11fi,110 carcases of mutton, aud 1,767,873 carcases of lamb, purchased on behalf of the Imperial Government, and 13,70 l quarters of beef. 92,008 carcases of mutton, and 124,117 carcases of lamb have been loaded into the live vessels at present on the loading berth in tho Dominion.
