Southerly bxeezea havo "predominated, and the baroi_eter has continued high everywhere. ■ . Present indications are for variable winds, moderate south-easterlies changing by east to northerlies northward of Cook Strait, and -orthorlies prevailing and' freshening shortly elsewhere. Expect fair weather generally, but with incxeafiing haze on the West Coast and in the southern districts the barometer is due to fall shortly.
