Tho annual, meeting .of Berry's Private Band was hold on Tuesday. There w_a an " attendance of thirty-three- members, the prej sidont, Mr J. Cotton, occupying the chair. In submitting his report, the chairman congratulated tho hand' on its continued progress, the past season having been one of lbbest,' both from a " playin-j-and financial point of view, in the band's history. Besides other engagements, the band had given itservices free- of charge on twenty-two ceca--ions for patriotic and military functions.
