. 4 ANNUAL CONFERENCE. frRESS ASSOCIATION TEL-GRAM.) AVELLINGTON, July 23. The sittings of the delegates of the Public Service Association to the annual conference were concluded to-day. A resolution was passed: "That the conference of tho executive Council of the New Zealand Public Service Association, on behalf of the public servants of New Zealand, places on record ite full confidence in the Public Service Appeal Board, and expresses its appreciation at tho fair and impartial manner in which it has carried out its functions." During tbe morning the delegates waited upon the Public Service Commissioner and submitted to him the result of their deliberations so far as they affected his control of the Service. A sympathetic hoaring was accorded tbo deputation__by the Commissioner, who promised to giv© full, consideration to the matters referred to. At the unanimous desire of the delegates Mr J. W. Mac Donald was reelected president. Other officers were elected as follows: — Vice-presidents, Messrs W. M. Wright and George Allport; general secretary. Mr F. W. Millar; general treasurer, Mr W. B. Dallard; auditor. Mr G. C. Smith; solicitor. Mr M. Myers. Members of the executive .—Auckland: Mr C. R. Robinson; South Auckland and Gi-?bornc : Mr W. M.
