July 22 The week's wool sales have closed. Competition wag fairly hrisk for good qualities at late rates. AUSTRALIAN WHEAT CROP. (Received July 22nd,, 8.15 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 22. Mr Hughes, Attorney-General, estimates that tho coming Australian ■wheat harvest will be not less than one and a half million, an<l perhaps thrco million tons. Tho question of transporting this to tho markets of tho world will be serious, though vossols " controlled by tho Naval Department will be able to lift a quarter of a million tons. '
