Wade, in moving his motion of censure on. the Necessary Commodities Act. said that he desired to show that the members ot the Commission had lo«=t signt of the purposes cf the Act. As a result the Commission itself caused a scarcer or foodstuffs by fixing prices pelmv their market rate, thus waking it impracticable for the other States to supply the shortajies. . ■ The debate wes adjourned to August 24th.
