Solferiiio was wriiton of in Mouduy's ''Pros.-..' , Winkie- a th roe-year-old chestnut colt by William the Third from Conjure, by Juggler from Connie, by Pero Gomez, and 1? full brother to \Vinkiepop and Pilliwinki. lie ran once last season, in the Daventry Two-year-old Plato at Warwick, when he. was left at the post. Winkie: may have raced this season, but he had not won up to June 3rd. The half-sister to Chili, or rather Chili 11.. is cither the bay filJv, 191*2, by Symington. o r the bay v filly, 1912. by Llangwyin from Clielys, by Sir Visto from Chelandry. by Goldfinch*. Both these fillies were bred by Lord Rosebery. and were in training this year. The fillies named are related to Prince Palatine throujrh their common ancestress. Footlight. by Crcmorne; but Winkie's ancestry has to be traced back one hundred years before it comes in tbrougK Prunella, by Highflyer. *
