CASE OF MEASLES AMONG THE CREW. (3PECIAL TO "THE PRESS.") WELLINGTON", July 21. Just before tho' House of Representatives rose to-night, tho Minister of Publte Health (the Hon. R. Heaton K-hodcs) made a statement with regard to the hospital .ship Miihnno. Tt had been rumoured, ho said, that a case of corehro-spinal meningitis had occurreti osi the vessel, but that had been proved to bo without foundation. A case of measles had been reported to-day, and in order to allay any uneasiness his Excellency tho Governor desired the fact to be known. He had received notification to-day that a meailwr of.the crew had developed measles. Ho had been landed in Adelaide and his ma to had been isolated, so it was not feared that the disease would spread.
