(Before Messrs F. W. Anderson and L. A. Stringer. J.P.'s.) ABSENT WITHOUT LEAVE. Ernest Miles and Alex. Huston, two seamen employed on tiie s.s. Delphic, pleaded guilty to a charge of absenting themselvos without leave. They were fined two days' pay and ordered to be placed on board before the timo of departure. ' THEFT. James, Baxter pleaded guity to stealing the sum of £5, tho property of David Bain. Accused was oixlered to refund the sum found on him, and was sentonced to ono month's imprisonment.
