POWERFUL AUSTRIAN SHELLS.
VIENNA, June 12. Tho recent Austrian successes are largely attributed to the work of the 15-centemetre mortar, throwing a proiectile charged with "ekrasit," whicn explodes in the ground scattering huge quantities of earth and killing all near it. No field earthworks are able to withstand its attacks. i
