BOYCOTT OF GERMANS URGED

JOHANNESBURG, May 12. Enemy aliens have been requested not to enter the Stock Exchange.

The Mayor has summoned the citizens to a meeting to protest against the- German brutalities. A German flag was trampled under foot in tho street, and another wae burned in front of the Town Hall. The public is being urge<l to boycott Germans. The Rand Club is draped in mourning. • The strike against Germans at Brakpan does not affect the iwwer station. It occurred among the workmen of Stuart, a building contractor, who ia one of the missing on the Lusitania. The municipality of Pretoria has passed a resolution recording its detestation and horror of Germany's crime.
