CHARGES AGAINST LEO BORANOFF.
(press association telegram.) TIMARU, May 3. A* man named Leo Boranoff. alias J. L. Arthurs, B.Sc., M.A., 8.M., Paris, claiming to bo a Belgian doctor, but not registered in New Zealand, was committed for trial to-day on a charge of indecent assault by oxamining a woman in a way which would. not have been permitted had he not said he was a doctor. A second charge of seeking to obtain £2 2s from her by false nretences, by stating that her child liad spinal paralysis, and must be treated, was adjourned till Saturday.
