A letter was received from the B«-v. Mackenzie Gibson regretting that it was not possible to Ret away to attend the moeting. Bailley, C. Benjamin. E. Lindrose, and V. Browb. ST. PETER'S, KAIKOURA. The annual . meeting of tho parishioners of St. Peter's, Kaiioura. was held in St. Peter's echoolroom on Wednesday evening, the Key. A. J. Seaton presiding. Tho warden's accounts showed that with all the liabilities of tho yoar discharged, and the reduction of tho debt on the church by £45 (bringing that liability down to £55), there remained a debit of 12e 6d on the 1914-15 period transactions. The totalreceipts for tho year were £376 8s lid, offertories showing a substantial increase. This and the marked increased attendance at tho service*, , and the number of communicants, were points omphaeised in the report. The assistance rendered by the Misses Flower and .Tolineon, Mrs G. C. Mayne, Mr W. H. Comerford. and the Rev. A. J. Seaton in connexion with tho organ, tho members of tho choir. Mr Wm. v Harle (superintendent), and Messrs Bidcer and Stubbe-rafield, a« teachers in St" Peter's Sunday echoed., and Mr F. Barnes in that of St. Jamee'e, wae liearlily acknowledged. Tho aid of Mr G. G. Joliuston (people's warden), Mr. A. H. Stubbcrafield (honorary verger), the valuable assistance of the meuibcra of tbo Ladies* Guild, and the help of tho lay readers (Messrs H. J. Barratt and .Renner) were appreciatively recognieed, and subsequently formed the subject of votes of thanks. Apart from the fiiiancial success of the year, parishioners (expressed their "■ratification with the ministrations of their vicar.
