There is no"change to note in dairy produce. From..the smaller amount of butter in cool store a s compared with last year, and gales being made to Australia, it is expected that higher prices will rule before long. Local -wholesale prices aro reported as under: — Butter—Factory. l s sd; farmers' separator, 1r Id; dairy, ls. Oheese—Factory, &1- dairy, 7|d; loaf, 8d to 9d. Bacon—Sides, 9Jd; rolls lOid: ham, 10<l. Honey—Extracted. 3jd per lb. Kggs—ls 9d per dozen. FRUIT ANT> VEGETABLES. There is a good eupptv of local fruit and vegetables, and a large shipment of oranges is just to hand, Wholesale prices are:— Apples, dessert 2d to 2Jd, cooking lid to 2d: pears. Id to liv: prapos, l.s to Is Gd ; tomatoes, 2d to 2id per lb; oranges, 5 S to 6s 6d; pineapples, 15s: bananas. 9 S to 12s; lemons, 12s 6d per case. Potatoes. 10s {>er sack: pabbagre. Is to Is Gd ; caciliflowers. Is 6fl to •Tβ 6d; carrote. 8d: turnips, Ski; parsnips, 9d: onions. 5s per cwt.
