■ f— — EXPEDITING DISCHARGE OF PRODUCE. I (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) LONDON, April 29. The Port of London Authority has assured the Hon. Thomas Mackenzie that it is arranging to expedite the discharge and delivery of frozen meat and also of wool. (FROU OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.^ LONDON. March. 19. For the purpose of relievina: the congestion in the port, the Port of London Authority have during the last few weeks sanctioned the provision of a large amount of extra accommodation at their docks, including the .construction of two sheds on the north side of the South-West India Dock, two sheds at tho Tilbury Docks, and three additional floors to No. 1 warehouse, West India Dock, and the conversion of some disused covered sidings at the MflwaU Dock into a shed suitable for the storage of goods. The total area of the new floor space will be 350,000 square feet, equal to a storage capacity of 35 000 tons, and the cost to the Authority will be £90,000. A large part of the new accommodation is due to be completed within thre© weeks from this date, and the whole of it will be finished within two months. Moreover, 50,000 feet of the now ferro-concrete sorting shed under construction at tho Royal Albert "Dock is now being brought into use for storage purposes. All of the above works are of a permanent character.
