(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) Feilding—Mr A. M. Ongley was reelected Mayor unopposed. • Wellington—The following suburban Mayors have been elected unopposed:— Mr H. Baldwin, Lower nutt: Mr Benjamin Burn, Karori; Mr F. fownsend, Miramar.

Gisborne—Mr W\ G. Sherratt was reelected Mayor unopposed. Greymouth—Mr G. E. Perkins has been elected Mayor unopposed for the fourth time.

Oamaru —For the. Mayoralty Mr W. H. Frith (sitting Mayor) and Mr James Mitchell, for many yeans a Councillor, have been nominated. For the twelve seats on the Council nineteen nominations have been received. For.the Harbour Board (four seats) Messrs E. Lane, J. M. Brown, Robert Milligan, and W. H. Frith have been re-elected. For the Hospital Board (two seats) Messrs A. Fraser and J. H. Milligan have been re-elected. Dunedin —Three candidates (Councillore Clark, Marlow. and Myers) were nominated for the City Mayoralty. For the seventeen seats on the pity Council thirty-one been received. ■-'■' St. Kilda—Mr McFarlaue, tho. retiring Mayor, has .been re-elected unopposed as Mayor. Harraway

and Sincock have been nominated for the Mayoralty. Port Chalmers —Messrs T. Scollay (retiring Mayor) and W. B. Morgan have been nominated for the Mayoralty. Green Island—Messrs Ueddes and J. Lindsay have been nominated for the Mayoralty. Invercargill—For the. City Mayoralty Messrs Duncan McFarlane (sitting 3fayor), A. B. Haggitt. and R. B. McKay have been nominated. There are twenty-one nominations for twelve councillors.
