CONFERENCE BUSINESS.
(press association telegram) WELLINGTON, April 6. The Poultry Conference considered a suggestion that Conference should meet during the, session of Parliament, but the proposal wa_ vetoed and Easter adhered to as th- timo of meeting. The following additional .officers Wore elected:—Executivo Board. Messrs W. Knight A.G. Mumby, E. Gallichan, S. H. Scott, and E. "W. Griffiths; assistant secretary, Mr F. H. Cooper; auditor, Mr C. Renn. V It was arranged that the Executivo Board should sit as a Conference Committee. Mr A. G. Mumby submitted a rer-ort from the Finance Committee, which stated that for first time in the history of the -Wo'-I-ttion there was a credit balance of .£l7 18« Id, owing to the success of the official organ. ,
