AMUSEMENTS.
"THE GLAD E,E." Again last evening a crowded audience witnessed Beaumont Smith's production of tho laughing play, "The Glad Eye," at the Theatro Royal. The rapid pace at which tho comedy it, played leaves audiences gasping for breath, and the nimble, foot-work of those two first-rate fun-makers —Henry J. Ford and Tom Sheljord—in the second act, is oxcellent fooling. Ethel Dane i 8 a piquant Kiki, iTankr Bradley a garrulous Galipaux, and Edward Landor a laughable "mejum.",The season concludes on Saturday night next, so that only four nights remain in which to see the comedy which held the boards in London for fifteen months.
PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS.
Good attendances wore recorded at the Globe Theatro yesterday. The samo programme will be 6hown to-day and this evening. The second of tho "Adventures of Kathlyn"—"The Two Ordeals"—and the supporting pictures at the Queen's Theatre, attracted largo audiences yesterday. To-day and this evening the same films will be screened for the last time. "David Garrick" and supporting pictures .at Everybody's drew large audiences yesterday. The 6amo pictures will be shown to-day and this evening. "Trey of Hearts," the serial which has commenced at the Grand Theatre, attracted large audiences yesterday. To-day and this evening the same films will be screened. Thero was a large audience at His Majesty's last night, when the romantic military and society drama, "The Fringe of War," and supporting pictures, -were greatly enjoyed. Tho same bill will ho given to-night. There was a large attendance at the Sydenham Pictures last nisrht. Tho programme will be repeated this evening.
OLYMPIA RINK.
.Skating was indulged in with great zest by large numbers at the different sessions at the Olympia Rink yesterday. Tho smoothness of the floor, and the excellence of the band music were favourably commented on. To-day and this evening tho rink will be open at tho customary times. •
"BABES IN THE WOOD."
Tho Georgo Willoughby "Babes in tho Wood" pantomime Company 'Trill open a season of cix nights in the Theatro Royal on Monday evening next. Tho cast i s led by Miss Daisy Jerome, the English "Live Wire Comedienne," and Mr Dan Thomas ■will appear; ns the Dame. There aro a largo number of specialty items on tho bill. Thero are two acts and 18 scenes in the production/ and the •whole pantomimo will be presented under the personal supervision of tho producer/Mr Lester Brown. Tho box nlans for the/season will be opened at The Bristol at 9 o'clock this morning. There will be matinees on Wednesday and. Saturday, at which children will be admitted to all parts except the gallery at half-price. Early door day sale -tickets may: be obtained at Woodward's and Misa Kobler's on Monday next. Tho management desire it to be known that intending patron-; living at a distance may reserve their Feats by. post; all applications to The Bristol must bo accompanied by postal note or money order.'-together with stamped addressed envelope for return.
